Yoga Flow OVERVIEW
Welcome to 365 inspired yoga classes day 5. Our class focus on day 5 is flow.
Flow is the absence of resistance.
To be in flow is to lose yourself in the movement. To lose all sense of time. To be fully present.
According to Webster’s Dictionary flow is an intransitive verb.1a(1): to issue or move in a stream rivers flow into the sea (2) circulate. B: to move with a continual change of place among the constituent particles molasses flows slowly water flowing over the dam. 2. Rise the tide ebbs and flows.
Yoga Flow Sequence
In a yoga class today we will create flow as soon as we bring our focus to the breath.
Feel your breath flowing in and out. Pranayama, breath control is done to direct the flow of the class.
Yoga Flow Vinyasa
Vinyasa is the yoga movement of the body with the breath, as in Sun Salutations A and B.
We create a state of flow in many types of yoga and we maintain it throughout the class until we rest in relaxation pose or savasana at the end of class at which time we return our body, breath and movement back to a relaxed and natural state of flow.
In creating the energy of flow in a yoga class we open ourselves up to being in flow with life.
We allow the experiences in life to flow through us.
We learn to adapt to the ever changing flow of life.
This home yoga class is adaptable for beginners or any dedicated yoga student. What is important is how you bring a beginner mind to focus on how you can bring the magic of yoga classes into your day.
