This yoga video class will explain how to do several restorative yoga poses. It includes how to set up each restorative yoga pose with props and recommendations on how long to hold each restorative yoga posture and what the benefits of each restorative yoga pose are for you.
Restorative Yoga Poses Sequence
The sequence of restorative yoga poses is really up to you. The purpose of restorative yoga is relaxation. In time with practice you will discover some routines work better than others.
I recommend two yoga blankets, two yoga blocks and a yoga bolster or pillows.
You can do the full body deep restorative yoga postures for up to 10 minutes. Most postures are held for between 5 and 7 min.
If you can carve out 15, 20, 30, 45 or even 70 minutes to enjoy the restoration that restorative yoga offers you will find the dose that works so you can receive so many health benefits.
