Hip Opening Yoga

Hip Opening Yoga Flow | Yoga flow class for hip opening

Welcome to 365 inspired yoga classes day 78, Our inspiration for yoga class today is a yoga flow or vinyasa yoga for hip opening.

This class is great for beginners, intermediate or advanced yoga students.

The hips are the area of the body where we hold our emotions. We especially feel relationship issues in the hip muscle groups.

Hip Opening Yoga Flow

This flow or vinyasa Hatha or physical sequence will help to release your hips as well as your hamstrings, leg, and lower back muscles.

We begin with a minute or two on our back to explore the tight, sore areas and explore flexibility with a hip opener sequence.

Next, we take a min to move into tabletop and work with hip circles and cat-cow yoga poses. Rest in child’s pose to explore deep release.

From this relaxation position, we flow through sun salutation A.

In sun salutation B we will add a hip opening stretch. We take the first set slow for holding each pose for a few minutes before we vinyasa flow.

Balance yoga poses like tree yoga pose and dancers can really be felt in the hip area.

Hip Opening Yoga Poses

Core work will prepare us for crow and finally, some deep yin like hip stretching will help you realize the benefits of workout in the preparation postures we did.

We end this class in a lotus yoga pose. This seated posture is a perfect meditation pose.

Janet offers many different yoga classes at various min or mins. Try day five, 15, 20, 30, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, or 65.
