10 Minute Yoga Full Body Stretch Class​ Overview

Welcome to 10 minute transformations a quick 10 minute full body yoga stretch flow class.

In this 10 minute full body yoga stretch class we will invite in the energy of flow. Flow is the absence of resistance. Flow in the morning, moving easily in your body.

The sanskrit or ancient language of yoga word for flow is vinyasa. Beginners, intermediate and advanced yoga students can do yoga full body flow.

I like to do this daily at sunrise to energize myself. I hope you will enjoy this morning a full body yoga 10 min energizing flow stretch.

Yoga is a great way to start your day. This yoga full body flow can be done in the morning or at anytime that you can carve out 10 min for yourself. When you first wake up in the morning or feel the full yoga practice will help your body at any time.

No props will be needed but do what is best for you. If you like add a blanket under your knees or blocks to support your body. Yoga will meet you where you are. All you really need is 10 min.

Remember to take a min to breathe. This yoga class is for all levels. Even a beginner will feel the full body stretch and energy of flow. Go slow and feel alive as we move and breathe together.

10 Minute Yoga Full Body Stretch Class Sequence

Start on your hands and knees in table top yoga posture. Flowing between cow and cat yoga poses feel the energy along your spine as well as throughout your full body.

Feel the power in your core in cat yoga pose and balance it with the strength in your back in cow yoga pose.

Next try thread the needle yoga flow and notice the full body twist from your neck to your hips. Then hold this amazing yoga stretch for 10 or 15 seconds.

Release and do the same thing on the other side. Feel the deep full body twist on the second side and hold this morning stretch for a min or so before you blissfully release.

The next part of our full body yoga stretch flow routine will wake up your muscles.

Sun salutations done in the morning to greet the day improve your flexibility and help you wake up. They are fairly simple and affect your entire body.

Start in mountain pose and stand tall to your full body height with arms extended overhead.

Next fold forward carefully bending at the hips with knees softly bent to care for your back.

From there lift half way to strengthen your back. Extend the full length of your back from your tail to the crown of your head.

Place your hands on your mat and move into plank. You can wait in downward facing dog, come to your knees or stay on your toes as you lower half way or all the way to your yoga mat.

Lift into a yoga back bend. Choose upward facing dog yoga pose or modify in cobra yoga pose. Then push to down dog. Repeat three times. Move your body with your breath.

Last let’s flow through a yoga hip stretch. Runners yoga lunge and then a hamstring stretch three times.
