Welcome to 10 minute transformations. This is a series of quick 10 minuter yoga classes.
This 10 minute yoga workout will focus on core strength with attention to abs.
This is a power yoga workout but will work for beginners as well as advanced yoga students who want to focus on their abs for 10 minutes.
As a beginner this may challenge your core. Yoga is for all levels of people. Always take care of your self. Do this yoga workout in a way that is considerate of your body.
The strengthening exercises can be done in the morning to energize your days or the intense abdominal workout is energizing any time of day.
10 Minute Yoga For Abs class
We start our yoga core workout routine seated to feel the belly stretch and strengthen.
Next balance on your butt feeling the lower part of the pelvis, your sits bones connect to your yoga workout mat.
Lean back and feel your core engage in boat yoga pose. The yoga pose is strong but will work your abs more if you lift your legs into the air for 10 seconds.
Add on and stretch your arms forward. Feel the burn in this classic yoga core pose.
Next we will workout our obliques with boat twists. For a better workout lift your legs again as you twist. This is a fat burner. Do 14, 15 or 20 ab twists.
Release onto your back for a min to rest. Any good yoga workout will include a time for recovery. 10 seconds or so should help.
No equipment needed as we do five full situps. Do this slow yoga core workout for a minute.
We will finish with 10 bridge yoga lifts for a killer ritual that gives the core strength and a super stretch.
